Please join Dr. Arti Rampaul for a 75 minutes seminar to gain a deeper understanding of the causes of type 2 diabetes, what causes insulin resistance, and how we can prevent and reverse insulin resistance using nutrition. Dr. Arti will also discuss the common dietary patterns that are frequently used for managing type 2 diabetes, highlighting the benefits and drawbacks of different diets.

Dr. Arti Rampaul is a Family Medicine Consultant qualified from Guy’s, King’s, and & St. Thomas’ School of Medicine, London. She holds a Master’s in Diabetes from Cardiff University and a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine. During her Master’s in Diabetes, Dr. Arti investigated the relationship between different food groups and lifestyle behaviours with the presence of metabolic disorders (namely type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity) and discovered a strong relationship with these factors.
